it seems to me that the more you love someone, the more the pain you feel when you lose them. The thought of losing the ones you love is scary, because of the prospect of pain.
My thought is that if God loves perfectly, then the pain that he felt, when his Son died on the cross, must have been indescribable. If God loves perfectly, then he must have also felt perfect pain at that moment.
i can't begin to understand such a sacrifice.
