yes, I think they're awesome! So practical, and versatile...I'd wear one to my wedding.

so i saw ur name and decided to look up jack bauer's man purse... that's definitely not a man-purse and is a messenger bag! if that's wat u define as a man-purse, den yah, i'd totally do it. and yah.. i'd look really really ridiculously good-looking in it!

murse/satchel/messenger bag..ALMOST all the same thing...with varying sizes.
1) visors are NOT in. they went out about 4 years ago, as i was entering uni. the trucker hat came in after that, and then those weird messenger boy hats. now that i've been gone for a few months, i have no idea what's 'cool' anymore. although, i have a soft spot for the trucker hat (i have one) ... i still think they look good even though some people are vehemently opposed to them.
2) messenger bags are different, cause they're bigger aren't they? i have to say something that i'm embarassed about: i'm a shoes/murse kinda guy. it's a recent development. after HK, where shoes were uber cheap and cool, i've definitly been on the lookout. not only that, but murses. man, the perfect murse is hard to find. but when you do ... it's a good thing.
... um, so yea.

and yeeeah DLu, i am one of those people vehemently opposed to the trucker hats. i don't think i ever understood the fad...but by the time they were in, i was in high school and was FAR TOO cool doing math on friday nights to even be bothered with the trucker hat fad.
and yes...messenger bags are slightly different..but its a natural progression. So for a guy who isn't as comfortable with a murse...they can start off with a messenger bag and gradually whittle off excess baggage until they're sporting a murse with confidence and chutzpah.
