yeah I read a couple articles in the paper about it...from what I read it seems to be pretty biased...the articles I read said it took alot of stuff out of context, just showing bits and pieces to make the story more sensational... don't remember to much about what I read though..
i remember having the same sinking feeling in my chest that i get when i read Tom Harpur articles about Jesus. (Tom Harpur writes to itching ears for the Toronto Star).
at the same time that i am ttroubled by this film i think there is some truth to what it seems to be saying. sometimes Christians can become so cult like its scarry. i find the fact that people expose the faith to such criticism for more upsetting than the existance of such a film.
hah I'm with you amac...tom harpur constantly frustrated and made me pretty angry when I read his articles...I don't think he writes for them anymore does he?..haven't seen an article from him in a couple of years
ahhhhhhh. i had a HUGE discussion with a friend about this movie - as someone who is spiritual but not a christian, she was definitely put off - and concerned for the emotional manipulation/overload she felt the kids were put through.
