Today, my dear dear friend, Darren compared me to Satan.
Three years ago, my wonderful friend, Choi, compared me to Delilah.

If the Darren of which you speak is DLu, he compared me to Satan today too! Well, sort of... he said, "Get thee behind me!" He didn't finish the quote, but still, the implication is there.

in my defense, both of you were playing the part of an enabler, tempting me to stray from what i should've been doing.
and it's true; in both cases i didn't finish the sentence so if your guilty conscience is causing you to compare yourself to the evil one ... well ... that's not my business.
