Today, I thought Your silence was deafening.
I told You so.
Then all of a sudden. New friends. Old friends. Friends I'm not even friends with. Msn.
Everywhere I turned.
These exact words:
"Walking, stumbling
On these shadow feet
Toward home, a land that I've never seen
I am changing
Less and less asleep
Made of different stuff than when I began
And I have sensed it all along
Now fast approaching is the day
When the world has fallen out from under me
I'll be found in you, still standing
When the sky rolls up and mountains fall on their knees
When time and space are through
I'll be found in you
There's distraction
Buzzing in my head
Saying in the shadows it's easier to stay
But I've heard rumours of true reality
Whispers of a well-lit way
You make all things new
When the world has fallen out from under me
I'll be found in you, still standing
Every fear and accusation under my feet
When time and space are through
I'll be found in you
When time and space are through
I'll be found in you
When time and space are through
I'll be found in you"
(Brooke Fraser~ Shadowfeet)
I love how you speak to me. When I'm too tired, too weary, too frustrated to open Your Word, you STILL speak to me.

Hey Lydia,
I found your blog! I think I found it through the CC circles. I just got your recent prayer update, love the new paper and layout! Thanks for asking about Africa, it was amazing, maybe I'll have to write an in-depth email to you about it. I just wanted to drop you a comment to say thanks for being so real on your blog. I know you're fighting loneliness these days while being in Edmonton. I hope you can find a good home church while in transition. I was recently reading in a book and it quoted how loneliness is God's great opportunity to draw near the soul. It also asks the question of would you despise intimacy with the Almighty in insisting on more of human intimacy? We may seek human "comfort" when we should live with our loneliness in order to draw near to "the God of all comfort."(2 Cor. 1:3-6).
I know, easier said than done, thought I would share that with you and I pray that whatever valley you are going through now, that it won't continue to be a deep one. Hope that encourages you, man, my comment is long, sorry, I don't blog, you're probably not supposed to leave a comment this long, oh well!
