to go or not to go?
August 19th-21st. Montreal Metro team retreat+ planning.
It's up to me to decide if i want to go. I'm not too sure if I should or not. Assuming I'm not done support raising, it would mean taking about 5 days off of support raising, and having to pay for the travel costs and such. Is it a wise use of money?
I'm not sure what I should do.
What is wise?
I think I just want to go, because I really miss people, and if I am support raising past September, I don't know how long I can stick it out in Edmonton without seeing any friends.

Hmm, that's a tough choice. If you did you you could be part of the planning, get a renewed vision, and be able to explain it more to potential supporters.
But it would cost money, take time, and kill the momentum of support raising...
I would say, stay behind and get your support done quicker, and be out there sooner. It's not like all the planning will get done and set in stone over those 3 days :)
go in faith that you wont be support raising into september?? but that's easier said than done!!
but i think chris is right and there's a lot to be said about renewed vision and your ability to explain it to your supporters.

stay behind, get ur support in quicker. if the only reason is coz u miss ppl then u myt as well just stay. u've had so much training, i don't think u have nething 2 fear about that aspect. but datz jus me.
